«RAICES» by MUT. A futuristic look to the past.
For the second part of our anniversary we created a artistic installation during Fouri Salone di Milano 2021. «Raíces»is the most artistic installation we designed so far. Two spaces : one outdoor and one indoor – a perfect fit as we have always tried to blur the border between in and out – connected by a giant root that guides the visitor throughout the space, to meet the past, present and future of the studio.The root twists and turns, intertwined both with the objects and the architecture ofAlcova.. And in between, a fine selection of the products they have designed alongthese past eleven years for brands such as LZF, Expormim, Sancal, ex.t, Pulpo, Diablaor Preciosa Lighting, among many others. To create this fantastic setting, MUT has partnered up with Valencian artist David Moreno.
